Peyman abadi biography for kids

A popular Iranian stuntman died near Tehran last week as he was preparing to jump out of a burning bus while on the set of the Iranian television series "Invisible Eyes."

Peyman Abadi, 36, was reared in Germany and learned his stunt techniques there.

He became a celebrity in Iran when he decided to return and work in Iranian films.

Abadi died May 6 when the bus he was set to jump out of overturned, rolled down a slope and burst into flames. The fatal scene, in which Abadi was a stuntman for actor Bahman Daan, was being filmed in the region of Kan, near Tehran.

In an earlier interview with the Persian daily Tehran-e Emruz, Abadi said, "For me, being a stuntman is like a daily routine of life, it is kind of love.

I think of it as something that I can say is the dream of every young man, because of its liveliness, heart-stopping moments and adventure. It is a sport scientifically portrayed as an art."
